We have taken steps to alleviate stress and improve the screening process by offering same-day mammogram results. One of our physicians will personally meet with you to discuss your mammogram results at the end of your appointment. If a patient requires additional examination, arrangements can be made for same-day follow-up imaging and procedures. This commitment is more than just a convenience for busy or anxious patients, it encourages women to get and continue regular breast cancer screenings.
It’s important that patients have confidence they are receiving the best care possible. Jupiter Medical Center was the first in the region to receive full accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the Bethany Simpson Breast Center has been named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The Center is also accredited in breast mammography, ultrasound, MRI and stereotactic breast biopsy.
