The Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICE). This designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program.
The Center is also designated as a pink ribbon facility by Hologic. Pink ribbon facilities are digital imaging centers recognized as providing excellence in breast health paired with their exceptional commitment and support to the women of their community.
The Kristin Hoke Breast Health Program at Jupiter Medical Center’s Foshay Cancer Center is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Accreditation by the NAPBC is granted only to those centers that are voluntarily committed to providing the best possible care to patients with diseases of the breast. Each breast program must undergo a rigorous evaluation and review of its performance and compliance with the NAPBC standards. To maintain accreditation, programs must monitor compliance with NAPBC Standards to ensure quality care, and undergo an onsite review every three years. When your breast program achieves accreditation by the NAPBC you can be assured that is held to the highest standards of care.
